The vascular flora of the Falklands has been well catalogued with 350 plant species recorded growing in the wild, of which 180 are considered native. Additionally, the Islands are currently known to have 14 endemic species, 5 of which are globally threatened according to IUCN 2015. The endemic plants include lady’s slipper Calceolaria fothergillii, clubmoss cudweed Chevreulia lycopodioides and Falklands rock-cress Phlebolobium maclovianum (full list here: http://herbaria.plants.ox.ac.uk/bol/falklands).
