Akrotiri Environmental Education Centre (AEEC) was established in 2004, and focuses on the unique attributes of the Akrotiri peninsula to deliver environmental education to schools, families and individuals from across Cyprus.  In November 2014 the centre moved premises to a new state-of-the-art building which benefits from environmentally-friendly building concepts and photovoltaic technology.
