TCI has the largest Ramsar site in any UK Overseas Territory. This international convention promotes sustainable use of wetlands. The UK Overseas Territories Conservation Forum and the Turks and Caicos National Trust worked together for many years to survey the biodiversity of this area, and develop a management plan.
