Recently, major large-scale tourism development has taken place or been proposed for all the previously inhabited cays, and some previously uninhabited cays. |

On the previously uninhabited Dellis Cay the resort development has needed huge quantities of imported sand to raise the Cay from its natural level. The development is now stalled because the developer went bankrupt.
