Many frigate-birds (or Man O War birds) used to nest on the large mangrove called Man O War Bush, within the Ramsar site. This bush was destroyed by Hurricane Ike in 2008, but reports indicate that the frigate-birds have established a new colony further east, in a similar situation. |
