A project to investigate how to deal with the invasive roseapple was conducted by the Pitcairn Conservation Office and the Botany Department of the University of Dublin, with funding from the Overseas Territories Environment Programme. The project demonstrated how roseapple could effectively be controlled, but funds and resources are not currently available to implement this.
