Projects / Conservation Actions

The Overseas Territories Environment Programme and its predecessors have funded several projects on the Pitcairn Islands to look at key issues of invasive species and habitat restoration. These have included the successful elimination of rats on Oeno and Ducie in 1997, which has greatly enhanced the seabird breeding on these atolls. More information about these projects can be found on www.ukotcf.org
