Pitcairn Islanders are working hard to maintain and restore their unique environment, to sustain their own livelihoods and to provide fantastic experiences for visitors. Henderson is already a World Heritage Site, whilst Henderson, Oeno, Ducie and parts of Pitcairn qualify as Wetlands of International Importance under the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands.
The longboat leaves Bounty Bay to visit a cruise ship, which was unable to land passengers due to rough seas.
