Pitcairn has no airport, so the only way to get there is by boat. Bounty Bay, the place where the Mutineers made land, is still the harbour used today. It is a very small haven, and is frequently affected by rough seas and bad weather, making a landing on Pitcairn exciting.

Bounty Bay as seen from the sea. The building is the boat shed.
