With financial assistance from the Stanley Smith (UK) Horticultural Trust, and project support from UKOTCF, some improvements have been made to the irrigation system which will capture and store rainwater during the rainy season to enable an adequate water supply to irrigate plants in the dry season, and wash away ash after an ash fall.  Two very large tanks (pictured) purchased for the project will store rainwater collected from the roof tops of the buildings in the garden, for use in the very dry months.

Fitting new guttering for rainwater harvesting, and the rainwater storage tanks.
