The Centre came about as a result of the co-operation of the British Bases with the Government of Cyprus, local communities, NGOs and others. Funded in large part by the Sovereign Base Areas Administration, the Centre receives around 10,000 visitors every year. |

Fully accredited by the Republic, the Centre uses an interdisciplinary approach in its teaching and is widely supported by the Akrotiri community.
