The Cayman Islands (19.3034°N, 81.3863°W) lie in the western Caribbean Sea, between Cuba, Honduras and Jamaica. The largest of the three islands is Grand Cayman (76 sq mi or 196 km²). About 75 mi (121 km) to the northeast are the Sister Islands, comprising Little Cayman (11 sq mi or 28 km²) and Cayman Brac (15 sq mi or 38 km²). The islands are coral-capped emergent limestone summits of the Cayman Ridge, which runs below the ocean between Cuba and Honduras.
