The Management of Protected Areas to Support Sustainable Economies (MPASSE) project is partly funded by the EU and is a regional project involving the UK Overseas Territories Conservation Forum, the National Parks Trust of the Virgin Islands, the National Trust for the Cayman Islands – specifically its Blue Iguana Recovery Programme – and the Turks and Caicos National Trust. The project is developing environmentally sensitive and sustainable visitor facilities in the three territories.
