Typhlatya rogersi was discovered in 1970 by Mr Douglas S. Rogers, an employee of the Pan American World Airways and at that time Curator of the Fort Hayes Museum of Ascension Historical Society. This pale pink, semi-transparent species is found abundantly in the pools.
